Job summary

Dilico Integrated Health seeks a Disability Management Specialist to oversee employee claims, return-to-work programs, and accommodations. You will coordinate STD/LTD processes with Manulife and ensure compliance with WSIB policies and MLITSD regulations.

Collaboration with staff, medical partners, and managers is essential to support a safe workplace. The role requires experience in claims management, strong communication, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Disability Management, Occupational Health, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in claims management, return-to-work coordination, and accommodations, with knowledge of WSIB and Manulife claims processes, as well as MLITSD regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of WSIB and Manulife claims management processes and MLITSD regulations.
  • Ability to coordinate return-to-work plans and accommodations in compliance with medical recommendations, WSIB policies, and Manulife’s disability plan.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
  • Must have the ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed in relation to service requirements.
  • Must possess a valid Class "G" Driver’s License and have access to a personal vehicle.
  • Must complete a criminal records check.

Position Overview


The Disability Management Specialist is responsible for managing employee claims related to workplace injuries, health-related absences, and disabilities. This includes administering work-related claims with WSIB, overseeing return-to-work programs, coordinating accommodations, and managing Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD) claims with Manulife.
