A community service organization in Ontario is seeking a Community and Personal Support Worker to deliver in-home support and personal care. Candidates must have a PSW Certificate, experience in personal care, and the ability to work with diverse age groups. Position Location: Can be based out of Pic Mobert or Wawa, ON
Salary Range: $21.91 To $28.59 Hourly
The Community and Personal Support Worker is a multi-functional para-professional who is responsible for the delivery of in home support and personal care to ill, frail, and persons with disabilities of all ages so that they may remain independent in their own homes and communities for as long as possible. With supervision provided by Dilico’s Community and Personal Support Services Managers, the Community and Personal Support Worker collaborates with the Home and Community Care Registered Nurse and other Health staff, to ensure the provision of culturally appropriate support and assistance to eligible clients including provision of support with activities of daily living, personal care, caregiver relief, palliative care, speech and language pathology support, adult life enrichment program services and basic foot care. If not located at identified office, can travel from another office. Dilico provides a vehicle rental and accommodations with meal reimbursement.
Hours of Work: 32.5 per week
