Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a dynamic Recruiter for a temporary role lasting approximately 12-15 months. This position involves collaborating with hiring managers, conducting interviews, and enhancing the recruitment process while promoting diversity and inclusion. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Human Resources, a minimum of 2 years of experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A competitive salary and benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of direct work experience.
  • CPHR, Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) or other specialized recruiter certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods to identify potential candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screens and assessments of candidates.
  • Manage and conduct interviews, qualify or reject candidates.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics for improving strategies.
