Maarut is seeking a Senior ETL/Power BI Developer in Canada to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets and create scalable Power BI reports. You will work on pipeline design, semantic modeling, and reporting performance, collaborating with data analysts and stakeholders.

The role focuses on Azure-based tooling, Direct Lake models, OneLake reporting, and robust data governance to empower business insights with high speed and accuracy.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience with Azure technologies and data platforms.
• Power BI development with semantic modeling expertise.
• Proficiency in PySpark and data modeling (Star/Snowflake).
• Experience with Data Factory within Fabric for complex pipelines.
• Design direct lake semantic models for fast reporting from OneLake.
• Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and security.

Responsabilidades

• Transform raw data into silver/gold data for reporting.
• Design and release Power BI reports and dashboards meeting KPIs.
• Review requirements to shape reports and dashboards.
• Create technical specs, write code, and test data-driven applications.
• Troubleshoot issues in software implementations and migrations.

• Transformraw data into silver/gold data for reporting consumption.
  
• Design,develop, and release deploy Power BI reports and dashboards meeting KPIsincluding accuracy, reliability and performance.
  
• Reviewbusiness requirements (and related materials) to use as input fordesign/development of reports
  
• Designtechnical systems specifications to translate into working, testedapplications. This includes developing detailed programmingspecifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-drivenprograms, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
  
• Resolvesand troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use andoperation of software packages, including technical assistance inimplementation, conversion and migrations.
  
• Worksin conjunction with data analysts for developing dashboards and other enduser reporting products
  
• SupportsClient’s wide-ranging business information requirements, implementing andsupporting OLAP analytical software solutions
  
• Developsand supports customized query applications which analyze key business data
