A community-based employment service in Thunder Bay is looking for a Casual Residential Addiction Worker. The role involves facilitating group activities, orienting new clients, and ensuring their safety and well-being. Applicants must have a college diploma in addictions, a valid driver’s license, and First Aid/CPR certification. Flexibility in hours is required, making this an ideal role for candidates seeking part-time opportunities.
Under the direction of the Post Treatment Manager, the Casual Residential Addiction Worker will carry out programming and lectures as per schedule; facilitate groups; orientate new clients to the center and program, transport clients to essential appointments (i.e. medical appointments); maintain daily recording in log book; case notes; ensures the safety and well-being of the clients, and the security of the center in the provision of programming.
Salary Range: $23.14 hourly
The position is based on a as needed basis at your availability and convenience
