Job summary

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a motivated Supervisor, Operations for the Watrous Section within the Operations and Maintenance Division. You will lead staff, coordinate highway maintenance and snow/ice control, operate heavy equipment, and ensure compliance with safety policies.

Ideal candidates bring strong leadership and communication skills, plus knowledge of road operations, safety requirements, and project management.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1A driver’s license.
• Knowledge of highway maintenance operations and heavy equipment operation.
• Knowledge of safety practices, traffic control, and occupational health requirements.
• Contract or project management experience; ice road knowledge is an asset.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, organizational and resource management.

The Ministry of Highways is seeking a motivated Supervisor, Operations for the Watrous Section within the Operations and Maintenance Division.

• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, fuel, and lubrication systems is required.
• Contract or project management experience and knowledge of ice roads are considered assets.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and resource management skills are essential.
