Prairie Valley School Division is seeking a Teacher for Vibank Regional School, commencing January 6, 2027, with a 1.0 FTE temporary contract through June 30, 2027 or until the incumbent returns. The current assignment is Grade 6, located in Vibank, SK, a community 52 km southeast of Regina.

The role requires a Bachelor of Education and a Saskatchewan teaching certificate (or expected by December 2026). Salary and benefits follow the Provincial Collective Bargaining Agreement and local teacher

Position Details

1.0 FTE Temporary Contract

Term: Commencing January 6, 2027 to June 30, 2027 or upon return of incumbent, whichever is earlier.

Current Assignment: Grade 6 Teacher.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education degree
• A valid Saskatchewan teacher certificate (or expected by December 2026)

Salary & Benefits

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated Provincial Collective Bargaining Agreement and Locally Negotiated Teacher Agreement.

This school is in a community designated for both Canada Student Loan forgiveness and Saskatchewan provincial student loan forgiveness. You may be eligible for Canada Student Loan forgiveness and Saskatchewan provincial student loan forgiveness if you meet other eligibility requirements.
