Job summary

CosmoProf Canada is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and step in when needed. You will lead people, drive sales, maintain safety, and foster an inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities include elevating the customer experience, overseeing operations and budget, and ensuring compliance with safety policies while promoting diversity and belonging within the team.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of customer service or retail sales experience and 1 year of sales management experience.
• Experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Cosmetology license is a plus but not required.
• Self-starter attitude with a drive to continuously learn and develop staff and customers.
• Passion for all things hair and beauty.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you support the Store Manager in all areas and take on primary responsibilities when the Store Manager is absent. Your role is to lead people, drive sales, maintain safety, and foster an inclusive environment.

Physical Requirements

The position requires standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder. You may be exposed to fumes and odors on occasion.
