Your Role as an Assistant Store Manager

As an Assistant Manager, you support the Store Manager in all areas and are responsible for all primary duties when the Store Manager is not present. We are looking for passionate beauty leaders who are eager to support and help run one of our stores.

• Manage the customer experience by inspiring your team and ensuring every customer leaves with a great experience and a personalized solution for their hair and beauty needs.
• Ensure your store meets or exceeds sales goals by overseeing operations, maintaining budgets, controlling expenses, growing sales, and managing inventory.
• Protect customers, staff, and store assets by enforcing safety and security policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and attractive store appearance.

Qualifications to Be a Store Manager

• Minimum 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience and 1 year in sales management.
• Experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Cosmetology license is a plus but not required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Passion for hair and beauty.

Requirements

Legal requirements include:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodations.
• Occasional exposure to fumes and odors.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

This role involves physical activity such as standing for long periods, walking, bending, crouching, stretching, reaching, and lifting moderately heavy items. It may also involve working around moving parts, carts, or machinery, and occasional exposure to irritant chemicals.
