Territory Manager Role

The Territory Manager is responsible for developing and closing business with new and existing commercial segment (Named-1) customers within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop sales activities with new commercial segment customers; upsell and cross-sell to existing customers
  • Build a sales pipeline through proactive outreach to convert prospects
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams, including Systems Engineers, to qualify and demonstrate products
  • Close deals in partnership with Veeam partners (tier-two model)
  • Achieve individual and team revenue targets
  • Leverage partner-generated business with end users
  • Drive account strategies and coordinate team efforts with Inside Sales, Channel Partners, Marketing, and Sales Engineering
  • Execute territory plans to maximize revenue; update CRM (SalesForce) with forecasts and opportunity details
  • Engage with Strategic Alliance partners to generate revenue opportunities
  • Participate in marketing activities within the territory
  • Travel up to 75% within the assigned region as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum five (5) years of sales experience selling software through channels and directly to end users
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced proficiency in English
  • Experience in B2B sales with a consultative approach and proven closing skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of large distributors and VARs is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of the virtualization industry
  • Experience with solution and value-based selling techniques
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and CRM systems, particularly SalesForce
