What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain ABAP programs for the CoreHR and Payroll modules, ensuring performance and scalability.
  • Contribute to defining functional strategies and innovative solutions to meet business needs.
  • Provide technical analysis and design of solutions for identified problems and approved enhancements by collaborating with users, studying system flows, analyzing data usage, and investigating potential problem areas, following the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with global architects, country architects, and support teams to ensure integration and efficiency.
  • Manage project activities to ensure timely completion of committed deliverables.
  • Follow best practices for process methodology, analysis, design, configuration, testing, and documentation.
  • Provide technical expertise that directly impacts team deliverables and ensures adherence to best practices.
  • Regularly communicate project status to stakeholders to proactively identify and address potential roadblocks.
  • Debug complex programs, identify errors, and determine resolutions to ensure system stability.
  • Support clients through User Acceptance Testing, Parallel Testing, and Go-Live phases.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Certified SAP Technical Consultant.
  • Experience in IT, ERP, or Payroll/HR industries.
  • Strong proficiency in ABAP HR programming and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with SAP Script, Smartforms, and Adobe Forms.
  • Participation in at least two full lifecycle implementations or upgrades.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Understanding of cultural nuances and their impact on effective communication.
  • Understanding of cross-functional team projects to ensure collaboration and seamless integration of applications.
