A leading technology firm is seeking a Senior Cisco Meraki MX Security SME based in Brazil to drive the implementation of network solutions across multiple locations. This role involves extensive experience in enterprise network deployment, particularly with Cisco Meraki technologies, and requires an in-depth understanding of IP schema design and cloud services integration. The successful candidate will work closely with IT and security teams to ensure a smooth deployment process, enhancing client security and operational readiness.
Sr. Cisco Meraki MX Security SME Duration : Phase One is around 4 months, with high potential for extension into Phases Two and Three
Location : Remote from Brazil (must)
Work Hours : Standard business hours CST with flexibility for deployment windows
Expected Start Date : November 2025
This role is critical to the successful execution of client's phased deployment of Cisco Meraki MX devices and associated security technologies across multiple customer locations. Lead the technical implementation of Phase One, which includes seven sites, and will directly contribute to the customer's digital transformation and security posture. This is a cross‑functional role requiring collaboration with IT, security, and cloud teams to ensure seamless integration and operational readiness.
Conduct discovery and documentation of existing IP schema across seven customer locations.
Design and implement new IP subnets for Office, Wireless, and Management networks.
Review DHCP server configuration, scope, and scope options for each location.
Identify network hosts that require manual static IP modifications or changes.
Deploy and configure Cisco Meraki MX devices, including switch port VLAN mapping.
Create standardized operational templates, profiles, and dashboards for Meraki environments.
Establish secure VPN tunnels and configure Cisco Secure Client for endpoint protection.
Cisco Secure Client Integration: Ensure the use of Cisco Secure Client for secure access.
Endpoint and End User Connections: Create and manage connections with endpoints and end users.
VPN Access: Ensure VPN access is available across all devices.
Cloud Integration: Integrate with Azure and AWS for cloud services.
Integrate Cisco Duo MFA to secure access to critical applications (e.g., Pension Pro).
Perform Active Directory integration for centralized user management.
Support cloud service integration with Azure and AWS.
Collaborate with internal and customer teams to ensure successful deployment and knowledge transfer.
Participate in testing, validation, and final review phases of the project.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Additional certifications in cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) or security (e.g., CISSP) are a plus.
