What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Oversee the department's research administration and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare, monitor, analyze, manage, and report research division budgets
- Supervise and train staff in the submission of grant and contract proposals
- Maintain personnel records and manage the hiring process for new personnel
- Serve as a liaison for research activities between various departments and external agencies
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and 3 years in grants administration
- Proven ability to manage budgets and oversee research administration processes
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Master’s degree
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Workday Software
- Skills in analytical thinking, decision making, and regulatory interpretation
- Experience in supervisory management and developing action plans
