We are looking for a remote Senior Front-end Engineer (Browser Extension) to develop and publish Chrome extensions for our U.S. client. The duration of this project will last 3‑6 months with the opportunity to extend into a full‑time position.

As a result, compliance becomes habitual, simple to understand and implement, and continuously verifiable, allowing businesses to gain transparency into their compliance status.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Chrome extensions that meet product and user requirements
• Integrate Chrome Extension APIs to create seamless user experiences and efficient browser functionality
• Collaborate with designers and back‑end developers to ensure smooth data flow and consistent UI / UX
• Debug, test, and optimize extensions for performance, compatibility, and scalability
• Manage the full lifecycle of Chrome extensions, including publishing, version control, and updates in the Chrome Web Store
• Stay current with evolving Chrome APIs and web development best practices

Required Experience

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• 5+ years of proven experience developing and publishing Chrome extensions
• Solid understanding of Chrome Extension architecture and APIs (e.g., Manifest v3, background scripts, content scripts, messaging, and permissions)
• Experience building interactive front‑end components with .js
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and modern web development workflows
• Trustworthy, team‑oriented, and transparent

Preferred Experience

• University degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Experience with Node.js
