What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Manage all contractual aspects of a large-scale design-build project, ensuring compliance with FAR and USACE requirements
  • Interpret and enforce contract terms, conditions, and clauses while managing modifications and change orders
  • Maintain accurate contract files and documentation according to USACE standards
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Contracting Officer and USACE representatives, coordinating with design and construction teams
  • Track and report on contract performance metrics and support project controls team in aligning contract deliverables with schedule and budget
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in federal contracting, with at least 3 years on USACE projects
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and design-build delivery
  • Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • NCMA CPCM or CFCM certification preferred
  • Familiarity with OSHA 30-hour and EM 385-1-1 standards
  • Experience with progress payments and cost proposals in a federal contracting environment
