The Senior Benefits Manager – Latin America will lead the strategy, design, and management of employee benefits programs across the Latin American region for a global technology company. This role ensures our benefits offerings are competitive, scalable, compliant, and aligned with our mission to attract and retain world-class talent.
You’ll serve as a trusted regional expert—partnering closely with Global Rewards, regional and local HR, Finance, Legal, Operations—to create an exceptional employee experience that reflects our culture of innovation, agility, and wellbeing.
Develop and execute a comprehensive benefits strategy that supports the company’s growth and employee value proposition across Latin America.
Act as the regional thought leader on benefits trends, market practices, and digital innovations in the Global Rewards space.
Collaborate with Global Rewards and HR leadership to ensure benefits design aligns with global benefits strategy and vision.
Consult and guide the benefits team members as well as our brokers on the strategy and objectives for the benefits function overall.
Design and manage benefits programs—including health, retirement, life, disability, and wellbeing—across multiple Latin American markets (e.g., Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru).
Drive scalability and efficiency through regional harmonization, technology enablement, and vendor consolidation where appropriate.
Lead annual renewals, plan design changes, and benchmarking in partnership with global brokers and local consultants.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance metrics to ensure best-in‑class service delivery.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, labor laws, and reporting requirements.
Collaborate with Legal, Payroll, and Finance to maintain robust governance and operational accuracy.
Monitor legislative developments and assess their impact on program design and cost.
Develop compelling communication strategies that help employees understand and value their benefits.
Partner with internal communications, HR, and local teams to integrate benefits into broader employee experience and wellbeing initiatives.
Champion wellbeing, inclusivity, and flexibility in benefits programs to meet the diverse needs of our workforce.
Leverage data and market insights to drive benefits strategy and cost management decisions.
Track and report key metrics related to participation, utilization, and employee satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years of experience with a leadership position managing employee benefits in a multi-country regional role across Latin America.
Proven success in benefits management within a highly matrixed, high-growth technology or multinational environment.
Deep understanding of regional benefits practices, legislation, and market dynamics.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
Strong teamwork, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Passion for innovation, technology, and continuous improvement.
Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
Skilled at balancing strategic vision with hands‑on execution.
