About the Role

We're looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead our Advanced Wound Care (AWC) business in Northern Italy. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving regional sales performance, building strategic customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team to exceed targets.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with business goals
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Managers
  • Monitor performance using CRM tools and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage regional budgets and optimize resource allocation
  • Support hospital tender processes and public procurement activities
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, opinion leaders, and technical experts
  • Promote a culture of accountability, excellence, and innovation
What We're Looking For
  • Proven sales leadership experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
  • Strong knowledge of the Advanced Wound Care market (preferred)
  • Experience with hospital tenders and public procurement
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into strategy
  • Passion for digital tools and CRM systems
  • Native Italian and proficient in English
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or related field
  • Experience in commercial roles within pharma or medical devices, with at least 3 years of experience managing a team
  • Understanding of Sales Training, Tender Management, Marketing, and Market Access
  • Skills in change management, particularly valuable in contexts of digital transformation and commercial reorganization
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to influence and lead across diverse teams
  • Demonstrated commitment to Convatec's values and behaviors
