Job Description

Be a part of the progress with Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park, and join our team as a Kitchen Attendant / Steward!

As a Kitchen Attendant, you will support the kitchen team in maintaining the highest standards of service and cleanliness in the kitchens and staff common areas.

About the Role:

This role offers both Part-Time and Casual positions.

Reporting to the Chief Steward, your key duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure a safe and clean work environment is maintained.
• Ensure kitchens and staff common areas are supplied with sanitized, clean, and dry operational equipment.
• Handle chemicals and equipment appropriately, following manufacturer’s instructions.
• Operate dishwashing equipment.
• Deep clean kitchens regularly.
• Store equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware hygienically and safely.

Qualifications

About You!

To succeed in this role, you should have a proven track record of performance, as well as:

• Experience in a similar, high-volume, and fast-paced venue.
• Flexible availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends, AM & PM shifts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others and independently.
• A strong desire to achieve high standards and results.
