Overview We are seeking an experienced and visionary HR Director to lead the Human Resources function for Lenovo and Motorola in Brazil. This role is pivotal in driving the next phase of our business transformation, which emphasizes services, solutions, and AI-driven innovation. The HR Director will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, ensuring that HR strategies and practices enable organizational growth, cultural evolution, and talent readiness for the future.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Design and implement HR strategies that support Lenovo’s transformation toward services, solutions, and AI.
- Partner with business leaders to align workforce planning, talent development, and organizational design with strategic objectives.
Talent Development & Succession
- Build and execute a robust succession plan for critical HR roles, ensuring future leaders embody the new leadership profile.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation, leveraging AI and digital tools for HR processes and employee experience.
Change Management
- Lead initiatives that support cultural transformation and adoption of new business models.
- Drive engagement and communication strategies to ensure employees understand and embrace change.
Employee Experience & Inclusion
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) programs, ensuring Lenovo and Motorola remain recognized as inclusive workplaces.
- Promote initiatives that enhance employee well‑being and engagement.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee HR operations, compliance, and governance for Brazil, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulations.
- Implement technology‑driven HR solutions to improve efficiency and decision‑making.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven experience in the tech or digital industries.
- Strong understanding of Brazilian labor laws and HR compliance.
- Experience in scaling HR functions in high‑growth or startup environments.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with agile HR practices and digital HR tools.
- Familiarity with DEI initiatives tailored to tech environments.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in HR metrics and data.
- Experience working in global, matrixed organizations – especially IT services organizations
- Spanish language skills.
