This is a full-time, permanent, non-virtual position based in São Paulo, Brazil.

The role is designed exclusively for recent graduates with a university bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, within the last 24 months.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to impact thousands of Amazon customers by working with industry-leading technologies. Amazon's LATAM Software Development Engineering organization is expanding, seeking engineers with a strong technical background who enjoy solving complex problems and collaborating across teams.

You will contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and operations. This role encourages experimentation and innovation, with responsibilities including coding, shaping software architecture, and establishing team best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Work with your team to help drive business decisions.
  • Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions that optimize services, reduce costs, and enhance security.
  • Apply software engineering best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Compensation for this role ranges from BRL R$9,500 to BRL R$10,500 per month, plus stock units and sign-on bonuses in the first two years.

Basic Qualifications
  • Recent graduation (last 24 months) in Computer Science or related field, or current enrollment in the last semester of a Bachelor's degree, or a Master's/Doctorate student in related fields.

  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.
  • English proficiency at B2+ level or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
