A global payment solutions company in Brazil is seeking a Financial Controller to manage LATAM financials. Responsibilities include overseeing the general ledger, preparing financial statements, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in financial control or accounting and be proactive in tackling financial challenges. The position is in-person at our São Paulo office, aimed at fostering collaboration and support within teams.
Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.
For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.
Adyen is looking for a Financial Controller to grow the Group Finance team, focused primarily on owning the trial balance(s) for the LATAM region and supporting regulatory compliance with the recent payment licenses. You will interact and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in order to support our continued business growth in a scalable, controlled and compliant way. The ideal candidate takes ownership of our local financials for two LATAM entities (Brazil and Mexico), and has a drive to understand these and is able to tie this back to where we’re heading as a Group globally.
Also being part of the Financial Controlling team means you’ll be working in the (financial) engine room of a registered and listed financial institution; being part of a relatively small team means you’ll be (in)directly involved in a lot of very interesting topics that reach beyond the LATAM borders.
This position is based in our office in Brazil, São Paulo.
