About the role
Our Polymerization team, composed of 42 people, is integrated into the Santo André Site and focuses on the production of polyamide polymers in 3 plants. ( Recycled, Continuous and Discontinuous Polymerizations). Value Stream: Spinning and Drawing of Staple Fibers Value Stream.
As a Fibers Production Engineer, you will work on improvement projects, management of indicators and operational support. You will get the opportunity to contribute to developing new practices and have a positive impact on production.
You will be accountable for:
Staple Fibers value stream management and Reducing the specific consumption of Staple Fibers
Project improvement to reduce costs, increase safety, quality and productivity
Management of performance indicators and Maintenance point of contact
Supporting teams in their daily routines as well as in shutdowns and launches of manufacturing units
Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 Quality System procedures
We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode.
About you
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Material Engineering
3 to 5 years of experience as a process or production engineer (improvement projects)
Relevant work experience in fiber production and performance indicators (creation, monitoring, evolution)
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Agile Projects, Data Analytics knowledge and Safety mindset
Proficiency in implementing ISO 9001

About the pay and benefits
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country base pay reasonably expected for this role is R$ 108.000,00 to R$135.000,00, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
