We are looking for a Resin Process Engineer to work at our Santo Andre plant.

Job Purpose:

The Resin Process Engineer supports resin production across sites and external manufacturers within a region to meet required HSE, Productivity, Cost, and other performance metrics while maintaining alignment to the long-term strategy. Long-term, the focus is to improve safety, utilization of our assets, business continuity plans, and deliver lowest total cost of ownership (TCO).

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate regional resin manufacturing network to leverage resources, improve maturity, and facilitate best practice transfers, with a focus on safety engineering protocols.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills with detailed plans and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Support the development and implementation of standardized maintenance and engineering standards.
  • Define activities to implement Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), archetypes, micro battles, and sourcing strategies.
  • Analyze and manage the resin portfolio across all sites to identify complexity reduction opportunities and oversee continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure timely and accurate inputs (CU & RCCP) into the IBP process and support sites in gap closing activities.
  • Maintain alignment of multi-year CapEx plans with site strategies, track execution, and ensure achievement of desired outcomes.
  • Comply with all applicable policies and procedures related to personal conduct, HSE&S, and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA).
  • Influence resin manufacturing and site leaders to deliver strategic objectives.
  • Consolidate regional performance reports.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related science discipline.

Experience:

  • Solid experience in the polymer or coatings industry.

Specific knowledge:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Good Spanish knowledge for global support and communication with multiple countries (desired).
  • Good English knowledge for global support and communication with multiple countries (desired).
