Job Summary
Green Leaf Productions is seeking a highly creative and experienced
Editor to join our post-production team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in film editing, a keen eye for story, pacing, and visual composition, and is capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality content for film, commercial, broadcast, and digital platforms.
- Work closely with directors, producers, and writers to shape and refine the narrative.
- Assemble raw footage into polished, visually compelling edits that meet creative objectives.
- Apply color correction, audio leveling, and visual effects as needed.
- Integrate music, dialogue, graphics, and effects to enhance storytelling.
- Collaborate with motion graphics designers, sound mixers, and finishing teams.
- Manage multiple projects with attention to deadlines, version control, and client feedback.
- Maintain clean project organization and deliver in various formats for distribution.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional editing experience in the film or media industry.
- Mastery of Avid Media Composer; working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and Media Encoder.
- Strong storytelling sensibility and visual editing skills.
- Experience editing a range of formats including branded content, narrative shorts, corporate videos, interviews, and promotional pieces.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and pivot quickly when priorities shift.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage your own post-production workflow.
- Strong communication skills and openness to creative feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Film, Media, or a related field.
- Experience working in a studio or production house setting.
- Familiarity with Frame.io, or other collaborative editing tools.
- Color grading, creating basic GFX and basic sound mixing experience is a plus.
