**Note that Ball is specifically looking for candidates with experience in the can industry, whether from can manufacturing itself or from companies that produce machinery for cans.

Primary Purpose of this Position:

Responsible for leading a team to optimize current processes and performance for existing plant technology, directing industry-leading and best-in-class standard processes.

What will you be responsible for?

1. Setting manufacturing plant process capabilities, driving implementation, and monitoring controls to ensure proper deployment and application. Driving critical process and quality controls to maximize plant efficiency and operational excellence.
2. Providing technical support to improve operational performance and offering technical guidance to plant, engineering, and process resources.
3. Fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among engineering teams to enhance continuous improvement in processes, KPI performance tracking, line control, plant simulation, data reporting, and document control/SOP updates.

Leading Technical Teams:

1. Managing technical teams to implement optimized and new processes efficiently.
2. Encouraging a culture of innovation and continuous learning to stay ahead of industry trends.

Management and Support in Projects and Capabilities:

1. Preparing accurate capital and operational cost estimates aligned with the operating plan and budget.
2. Managing operational projects related to new capabilities, maintenance, products, processes, and performance improvements.
3. Collaborating with the capital projects team to clarify roles and responsibilities, avoiding duplication.
4. Sharing and implementing best practices aligned with global strategies.
5. Training operational teams according to global training strategies and maintenance plans.
6. Managing spare parts to optimize service levels, reduce inventory, and align with global strategies.

What are we looking for?

• Completed bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Experience in process optimization and productivity management within manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and relationship management with suppliers and internal teams.
• Excellent project management and budget control skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles, 5S deployment, WCM strategy.
• Knowledge of capital project development, cost estimation, and project management.
