The Director of Content Development and Publishing is responsible for leading the strategy, creation, and optimization of content published across Ascension’s digital ecosystem, including web, social, campaign, and emerging platforms. This leader will guide a team of content strategists and content managers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered, and brand-aligned content that drives engagement, supports patient acquisition, and strengthens Ascension’s voice in the market.
This role requires a strong blend of editorial, platform expertise, digital strategy, and operational experience. The Director will collaborate across Marketing, Digital Content Operations, SEO, Creative, and Product to ensure content is structured, scalable, measurable, and aligned with enterprise goals. The Director will also play a key role in shaping how Ascension’s content adapts to AI-driven search and discovery—ensuring visibility, accuracy, and trust within environments like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and other generative engines.
