What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee all fundraising operations, managing and supervising department staff
- Coordinate fundraising efforts and collaboration across all locations
- Establish and monitor annual fundraising objectives and long‑term goals for the organization
- Maintain a list of potential financial donors and produce informative fundraising literature
- Plan and execute fundraising events that effectively communicate the organization’s mission
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- 5–10 years of experience in annual campaigns, major gifts, donor relationships, grant writing, and philanthropy operations
- 5 years of experience using CRM systems, with a preference for those who have implemented a new CRM
- Extensive knowledge of fundraising strategies and principles
- Excellent management, supervisory, written, and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a nonprofit organization focused on philanthropy and fundraising
- Knowledge of tax planning principles that favor charitable giving
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
