We are seeking a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) who can step into the CEO role in the near future. This is a strategic leadership position for an all‑rounder who combines operational expertise with commercial strength. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, profitability, and growth while preparing to lead the organisation at the highest level.
Operational Excellence: Oversee end‑to‑end operations across all freight forwarding services. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality. Ensure compliance with global standards and local regulations.
Commercial Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and market share. Build strong relationships with key clients and partners. Negotiate major contracts and pricing strategies to maximise profitability.
Strategic Vision & Succession: Work closely with the current CEO and global leadership team on long‑term strategy. Prepare to transition into the CEO role by demonstrating leadership, vision, and execution capability.
Financial Management: Manage regional P&L, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. Monitor KPIs and deliver performance reports to the global board.
Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire operational and commercial teams. Build a strong leadership pipeline and succession planning.
Experience: 12+ years in senior leadership roles within freight forwarding or logistics. Proven track record in operational management and commercial strategy. Experience in leading large‑scale teams and driving transformation.
Skills: Strong business acumen and strategic mindset. Exceptional leadership and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
