Engibex, a dynamic Belgian consulting firm focused on engineering and R&D, seeks a full-time Wind Turbine Electro-Mechanical Engineer to support Wind & Marine Lab projects in Belgium. The role involves on-site missions, data analytics, and development of methodologies to assess turbine loads and life time.

The candidate should have a Master’s degree in engineering with renewables background, strong Python skills, and English proficiency; Dutch/French are a plus. OpenFAST experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering with a strong background in renewable energies.
• Knowledge/experience in structural health assessment and data analytics related to renewable energy assets.
• Entry level position, open to candidates with up to 3 years of experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python and data analytics.
• Good command of English, Dutch and/or French is a plus but not strictly required.

Responsabilités

• Perform structural health monitoring of wind turbine assets using real-time data.
• Develop aeroelastic models to evaluate wind loads on turbine components.
• Monitor performance of wind farms and detect health anomalies in components.
• Interpret results and report findings to clients and sponsors.
• Participate in on-site measurement campaigns and installation tasks.
