Wesco is seeking a warehouse operations leader in Antwerpen to manage administrative staff across functional areas, coordinate inbound/outbound service requirements, and drive performance against productivity, quality, service, and safety metrics. The role involves supervising a warehouse environment with potential travel and forklift operations.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Licenses/Certificates/Designations – Forklift Certification preferred.
• 4 years warehouse and distribution operations experience
• 2 years supervisory or lead experience in a warehouse environment
• Ability to operate a forklift or obtain forklift certification
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Customer service oriented
• Self-driven in fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Travel up to 25%
• Fluency in Dutch is essential.

Responsabilités

• Manages warehouse administrative staff across all functional areas, including training, coaching, and counseling.
• Oversees operations for a location with multiple warehouse management systems and/or complex value-added services.
• Coordinates employee work assignments to meet inbound and outbound service requirements.
• Directs performance objectives related to productivity, quality, service, and safety.
• Monitors workflow, completed work, error rates, and related metrics; takes corrective action.
• Ensures procedures are followed, implemented, and enforced.
• Verifies quality and inspection processes; eliminates excess costs.
• Maintains safe working environment and compliance with safety regulations.
• Tracks timekeeping, attendance and performance management records.
• Fosters positive employee relations and team morale.
• Partners with cross-functional teams and service providers on feasibility and cost analysis.
• Completes operational activities on time and provides updates to Sales and Operations Management.
• Coordinates with stakeholders for project deliveries.
• Reviews and improves existing processes and procedures.
• Manages departmental costs and ensures budget compliance.
• Tracks performance of service providers and reviews invoices for contract compliance.
