Go4Jobs Roeselare is seeking a maintenance mechanic for trucks. You are responsible for the technical maintenance of trailers, ensuring readiness for inspection and performing interventions where needed. You replace brakes, shock absorbers and other worn parts.

Welding work on trailers is also part of your job. On a typical day you start by checking trailers scheduled for inspection, perform planned maintenance and repair defective parts.

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance mechanic for trucks and trailers.
• Welding work on trailers and mechanical assembly skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and/or electrical systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and maintain trailers, ensuring readiness for inspection.
• Replace brakes, shock absorbers and other worn parts.
• Perform welding on trailers and related repairs.
• Disassemble/assemble components and coordinate with colleagues as needed.
