Sodexo Belgium is seeking a skilled welder/assembler for a position in Antwerp. You will perform TIG welding and montage of steel structures, read and interpret mounting plans, and work primarily on-site with occasional teamwork.

The role requires hands-on mindset, a learning attitude, and a first experience in steel production or assembly; VCA certification is preferred or willingness to obtain. Salary package and extralegal benefits depending on experience with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be able to TIG weld and assemble steel structures.
• Experience in production or assembly of steel constructions preferred.
• Able to read and understand mounting plans.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible.
• VCA certificate is required or willing to obtain it.

Responsabilités

• Weld and assemble steel parts on-site or on workshop.
• Hernemingen of finishes on welds as needed.
• Position parts according to markings and ensure correct alignment.
• Check operation of installations and equipment.
• Inspect welds and assemblies for quality.
