ENGIBEX Belgium seeks a hands-on test engineer to set up and run chip and electronic-system tests in our lab. You will configure test benches, run functional and parametric tests, and report findings to the design team.

The role requires experience with lab equipment, PCB-based test setups, data analysis, and scripting in Python or MATLAB. You will collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure quality and timely results.

Qualifications

• Experience with IC or electronic system testing and lab measurement equipment.
• Comfortable spending most of the time in the lab and operating test benches.
• Proficient in Python or MATLAB for automation and data analysis.

• Set up and debug the chip test bench, including instruments, power supplies, boards, fixtures, cabling, automation scripts, and data acquisition

Profile / Requirements

• Experience with IC or electronic system testing, laboratory measurement equipment, PCB-based test setups, and structured data analysis.
• Comfortable spending most of the time in the lab.
• Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or similar automation environments is mandatory.
• Relevant experience with PMICs and voltage regulators is a plus.
• The candidate should be pragmatic, autonomous, accurate in reporting, and comfortable interacting with an international team, consisting of internal technical teams and external test-service providers.
