Ecolab in Tessenderlo, Belgium, seeks a Process Automation Technician to maintain plant installations and ensure safe, reliable operation. You will handle preventive and corrective tasks, read schematics, and support improvement projects, working in shifts and standby as needed to keep the plant running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electromechanics with automation option or equal by experience.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation, electricity and automation (Siemens).
• Good knowledge of mechanics and pneumatics is a plus.
• Able to read and adjust technical drawings (P&ID, electrical/pneumatic).
• Willing to work in shifts and standby for special interventions.
• Analytical, responsible, proactive and able to take initiative.
• Stress resistant and able to set priorities.
• No fear of heights and comfortable working from height access.
• Flexible, positive and dynamic mindset.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant installations and machines.
• Execute work orders and follow procedures for task tracking.
• Report defects and suggest improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to root cause analyses during serious faults.
• Develop improvement projects independently using full skill set.
• Adhere to safety procedures and prioritize on-site safety for self and colleagues.

Technieker procesautomatisatie

Als technieker procesautomatisatie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het preventieve en correctieve onderhoud van alle installaties en machines van de plant in Tessenderlo.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Je voert werkopdrachten uit en volgt nauwkeurig de procedures voor werkopvolging.
• Je maakt melding van gebreken en doet suggesties om deze te vereteren.
• Je denkt mee bij het zoeken naar oplossingen en assisteert route cause analyses bij ernstige defecten.
• Je zal zelfstandig verbeterprojecten uitwerken waar je al je vaardigheden kan aanspreken.
• Je neemt bij de uitvoering van werken de veiligheidsprocedures in acht en stelt veiligheid op de werkvloer zowel voor U als uw collega’s als prioriteit.

Profiel

• Je hebt een Bachelor opleiding richting Elektromechanica optie automatisering of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
• Een zeer grondige kennis van instrumentatie, elektriciteit en automatisatie (Siemens) is noodzakelijk.
• Een goede kennis van mechanica en pneumatica zijn een pluspunt.
• Je kan technische schema’s lezen en aanpassen (P&ID’s, elektrische en pneumatische schema’s,…)
• Je bent bereid te werken in ploegendienst en voor speciale interventies of opleidingen in dagdienst.
• Je bent bereid om mee in de wachtdienst in te stappen
• Je bent analytisch ingesteld en beschikt over een grote verantwoordelijkheidszin en neemt graag initiatief om op uitvoerend niveau verbeteringen voor te stellen.
• Je bent stressbestendig en kan de juiste prioriteiten stellen.
• Je hebt geen hoogtevrees (werken vanuit hoogtewerker)
• Je bent flexibel, positief en dynamisch ingesteld.
• Je hebt een hands-on-mentaliteit, bent ordelijk en praktisch onderlegd.
• Na een grondige opleiding ben je in staat zelfstandig te werken.
