Reynaers Group in Duffel seeks a proactive Technical Drafter for project development and high-rise construction, focusing on smart aluminum joinery solutions. You will craft 2D/3D drawings, BOMs, and assembly layouts while supporting project ownership from concept to delivery.

You’ll work with AutoCAD 2D, Inventor 3D, and Vault data management; contribute to innovation through VB.NET or Lisp, and collaborate across teams and suppliers in an international setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical or structural engineering field.
• Excellent ability to read and understand technical drawings, brochures, or catalogs.
• Ability to work in an international context.
• Strong Dutch and English communication skills.
• Proficient CAD 2D/3D design tools and MS Office.
• Team spirit and proactive collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Design high-quality applications for Reynaers profile systems in 2D/3D.
• Produce drawings, BOMs, and fabrication drawings; create assemblies.
• Ensure drawings comply with standards and internal procedures.
• Follow up projects from A to Z with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Explore automation and new tooling ideas (VB.NET, Lisp).

Technical Drafter / CAD Designer – Projects

We are looking for a proactive colleague with strong communication skills and a passion for smart aluminum joinery solutions for project development and high-rise construction.

Your Challenge?

As a Technical Drafter in our Custom Projects team, you will design high-quality applications that add value to our profile systems.

• Engineering & Drawing: You are responsible for the technical drawing work and processing data into the corresponding systems (bills of materials, etc.). You create technical die drawings, detail drawings, and component drawings in both 2D and 3D. You also check drawings, create assemblies, fabrication drawings, and catalog designs. Your responsibilities can expand into 3D visualization tasks for brochures and commercial documents.
• Project Ownership: You follow up on your files and projects from A to Z, keeping all stakeholders involved. You consult and communicate effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
• Standards & Procedures: You deliver technical drawings in compliance with applicable standards and internal procedures.
• Software Tools: You primarily use AutoCAD 2D & Inventor 3D for drawing, and Vault as a data management package to manage and process data.
• Innovation: You are curious and always looking for new ways to innovate and automate tasks using tools like VB.NET, Lisp, etc.

• Education: You hold a degree in a technical or structural engineering field.
• Technical Insights: You have excellent technical insight; you can easily read and understand technical drawings, brochures, or catalogs.

• Languages: You are a strong communicator in both Dutch and English.
• Software Skills: You are proficient in CAD (AutoCAD) 2D, (Inventor) 3D design software, and Microsoft Office tools.
