The organisation is modernising several essential information tools that support benefit administration processes, combining a .NET 10 migration and rewrite programme with work to maintain service continuity. As Senior Project Lead IT, you will lead the work from requirement gathering and BPMN process mapping through implementation, using Agile project management to align business stakeholders and the development team.

The mission

The migration project covers a .NET 10 rewrite of several essential information tools, alongside the analysis and definition of current and future business processes. BPMN models for the .NET 10 migration and the related project deliverables must define a solution that fits the organisation's existing environment, operating methods and established public-sector standards. This work supports benefit administration processes, so the implementation must preserve the continuity and reliability of the services used by the business.

You will manage the project from initial requirements to implementation. Your scope includes requirement gathering, workshops, process modelling, solution definition and coordination of development team work. You will maintain a structured link between business stakeholders and developers, ensuring that decisions, impacts and open issues are understood by the right people. The role combines IT project management with Product Owner responsibilities, while keeping delivery aligned with quality, timeline and budget objectives.

Your responsibilities

• Lead delivery from defined business objectives and requirements through implementation, maintaining control of scope, quality, deadlines and budget.
• Model current and future business processes in BPMN, translating business expectations into specifications that the development team can implement.
• Facilitate workshops and project meetings that capture requirements, clarify decisions and establish agreement among stakeholders.
• Produce the project, process and solution deliverables needed to guide implementation and maintain traceability from requirements to delivered functionality.
• Structure the development team's work and monitor progress against agreed objectives, delivery milestones and the selected technology.
• Communicate status, risks, issues and solution impacts clearly, while verifying that the implemented solution remains consistent with the agreed business design and operating environment.

Essential skills

• Bring senior IT project management experience, with the ability to manage scope, quality, deadlines and budget across the project lifecycle.
• Lead requirement gathering for benefit administration processes and translate current and future-state needs into practical, implementable specifications.
• Apply BPMN to analyse and document business processes, including the impact of technology choices on future ways of working.
• Work effectively in an Agile delivery model and take on Product Owner responsibilities when defining priorities and clarifying expected outcomes.
• Use TFS for project delivery tracking, documentation or collaboration with the development team.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings through clear communication, active listening and structured decision-making.
• Analyse information critically, connect impacts across different services and advise stakeholders on practical solution options.
