Johnson & Johnson Geel site is seeking a GTP Supervisor to lead and optimize the tank park and weigh & logistics operations. You will manage 17 solvent tanks, supervise 3-5 operators, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes process improvement, strong technical/maintenance knowledge, and collaboration with production, order management, and suppliers. A focus on 5S and operational excellence guides daily work.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operational or logistic environment, preferably in chemical or bulk handling.
• Strong people management skills and ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Flexible attitude and affinity for technical installations and process control.
• Commitment to quality and safety, structured work and ownership.
• Experience with Comet/PLC is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide operational leadership for the tank park team and daily management.
• Coach, motivate and develop operators.
• Ensure efficient resource planning aligned with department goals and site priorities.
• Monitor and optimize processes such as loading/receiving bulk raw materials, sampling, and maintenance of storage installations.
• Ensure correct and timely delivery registrations.
• Lead quality investigations and change controls; maintain up-to-date procedures and master data.
• Coordinate daily activities with stakeholders (production, order management, suppliers).
• Drive continuous improvement and site-level tank park projects (ergonomics, safety).
• Develop strong technical knowledge of installations; be point of contact for maintenance interventions.

Binnen ons team Weighing & Logistics in Geel zijn we op zoek naar een GTP Supervisor: een sleutelfiguur binnen onze Weighing & Logistics operations.

In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het operationeel beheer van het grondstoffentankpark (bulk solventen). Het tankpark bestaat uit 17 solvent tanks en is verantwoordelijk voor het aanleveren van bulk solvent aan alle productieplants. Je stuurt een team van 3-5 ervaren operatoren (in vroege/late regime) aan en zorgt ervoor dat alle processen veilig, efficiënt en volgens de hoogste kwaliteitsnormen verlopen.

Je komt terecht in een omgeving waar veiligheid, kwaliteit en samenwerking centraal staan, en waar je actief kan bijdragen aan continue verbetering en projectmatige groei.

Jouw uitdaging

Als GTP Supervisor ben je verantwoordelijk voor het aansturen en optimaliseren van alle operationele activiteiten binnen het tankpark en het behalen van de afdelingsdoelstellingen. Concreet betekent dit:

Operationeel leiderschap

• Je geeft leiding aan het team dat instaat voor het dagelijkse beheer van het tankpark
• Je coacht, motiveert en ontwikkelt operatoren in hun rol
• Je zorgt voor een duidelijke taakverdeling en efficiënte resourceplanning i.f.v. de afdelingsdoelstellingen en site prioriteiten

Procesverantwoordelijkheid

• Je bewaakt en optimaliseert processen zoals:
  • Lossen en ontvangst van bulkgrondstoffen
  • Staalname
  • Operationeel onderhoud van de opslaginstallaties
• Je zorgt voor een correcte en tijdige registratie van leveringen

Kwaliteit & compliance

• Je leidt kwaliteitsonderzoeken en change controls binnen jouw domein (o.a. via Comet)
• Je zorgt voor up-to-date procedures en correcte master data
• Je waakt over naleving van veiligheids- en kwaliteitsnormen

Dagelijkse coördinatie & verbeteringen

• Je coördineert de dagelijkse activiteiten binnen het tankpark, inclusief communicatie met je stakeholders zoals productie, orderbeheer, leveranciers
• Je neemt initiatief om processen continu te verbeteren, met een duidelijke focus op 5S
• Je leidt of ondersteunt projecten rond het tankpark op site-niveau, zoals ergonomie- en veiligheidsinitiatieven
• Je ontwikkelt een sterke technische kennis van de installaties en fungeert als afdelingsaanspreekpunt voor technische interventies en/of onderhoudswerken

People management

• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor selectie, training, kwalificatie en ontwikkeling van jouw team, en zorgt ervoor dat kwalificaties en trainingen steeds in orde blijven
• Je werkt nauw samen met Weighing & Dispensing, Logistics om een continue bestaffing te garanderen
• Je creëert een cultuur van veiligheid, eigenaarschap en samenwerking

Extra verantwoordelijkheid

• Je fungeert als back-up Supervisor voor het Milieu Tank Park (MTP)

Jouw profiel

• Je hebt ervaring in een operationele of logistieke omgeving, bij voorkeur in chemie of bulk handling. Chemisch technische profielen zijn ook van harte welkom te appliceren.
• Je beschikt over sterke people management skills en weet een team te inspireren en te ontwikkelen.
• Flexibele houding.
• Je hebt een sterke affiniteit met technische installaties en procesbeheer.
• Je bent kwaliteits- en veiligheidsbewust.
• Je werkt gestructureerd en neemt ownership.
• Ervaring met systemen zoals Comet/PLC is een plus.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€60,000.00 - €96,255.00
