Infocura, a Belgium-based data expert, is seeking a SQL Server DBA to manage and optimize client databases as a consultant through Infocura. You will ensure performance, security and reliability while applying industry best practices.

You will work on deployments, migrations and high-availability solutions, collaborating with client teams to align database solutions with business needs. Fluency in Dutch and English and a minimum of 3 years of SQL Server experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of SQL Server DBA experience.
• Proficient in performance tuning, security, and HA/DR.
• Experience with clustering, replication, and DR strategies.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.

Your Role

As a SQL Server DBA, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing SQL Server databases for our clients. You will ensure database performance, reliability, and security while providing expert guidance on best practices. You’ll be working as a consultant through Infocura at a client, handling both operational and project-based database tasks.

Your Responsibilities

• Administer SQL Server databases to ensure performance and reliability.
• Implement security best practices, including backups and access control.
• Troubleshoot database issues and optimize queries.
• Support migrations, upgrades, and high-availability solutions.
• Collaborate with client teams to align database solutions with business needs.

Your Expertise

• At least 3 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
• Strong expertise in performance tuning, security, and high availability.
• Experience with clustering, replication, and disaster recovery.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
