MCEXPERTJOBS is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to design a secure, scalable Azure-based cloud foundation for our ICT Design & Integration CCoE. You will serve as a bridge between governance, design, platform, and product teams, driving cloud governance and EPAC policies, and guiding technical coordination across projects.

You will work with Azure AD Entra ID, Azure Bicep, FinOps, and governance frameworks to model architectures and control cost.

• 5+ years as Infrastructure Architect
• Experience with Azure platform and governance
• English C2 proficiency and travel willingness
• Sparx EA knowledge is a plus

Description du poste

You will join the CCoE under ICT Design & Integration.

You will design and build a secure, reliable, and scalable cloud foundation based on Azure.

You are the bridge between governance, design, platform, and product teams.

You are jointly responsible for cloud governance and the establishment and implementation of policies via EPAC.

You create designs in consultation with our product and application teams.

You take on the technical coordination of various projects.

You continuously seek ways to improve our services to internal customers.

You challenge the designs offered by various outsourcing partners and candidate suppliers.

You utilize the services offered in the various cloud platforms and oversee the integration of the whole.

You design cost allocation models. You support product teams with budgeting, cost governance, and cost insight in Azure, and you manage and purchase reservations and savings plans. Additionally, you investigate possible cost anomalies.

Skills

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect
• Proven experience in a similar business context (number of users > 5000)
• Proven experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology
• Proven experience with Azure AD (Entra ID)
• Proven experience with Azure Bicep
• Proven experience with Azure FinOps
• Proven experience with Azure Governance Framework
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure design and implementation
• Proven knowledge and experience of modeling techniques (Archimate, Togaf, UML, Sparx EA)
• The candidate can demonstrate the necessary communication skills during an interview.

Languages

• Language requirement: English at European CEFR level C2.
• Proven experience in the Belgian energy sector
• Proven experience with API management
• Proven knowledge of Sparx EA
• FinOps certification
• Proven all-round infrastructure architecture experience in a similar environment

Additional Info

Location in Melle with additional regular travel to Mechelen, Brussels, and Hasselt (approximately once a week).

From 01/09/21 (if allowed according to federal measures), the new telework policy provides the possibility for external resources to work remotely.

The right to telework is not enforceable, and the frequency will always be determined in consultation with the team leader and the established team charter. Furthermore, we expect the necessary flexibility regarding occasional travel to other locations than the primary workplace or to be temporarily more on-site for certain activities.
