Accent Jobs for People NV is seeking an experienced industrial electrician or maintenance technician to detect and resolve electrical malfunctions in our installations in the Antwerp region. You will perform electrical repairs, wiring, and connecting control cabinets, following diagrams, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for our machines and lines.

Fluent Dutch is preferred, with French/English as a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role as industrial electrician or maintenance technician.
• Diploma in electricity or electromechanics is required.
• VCA/BA4/BA5 certification is a big plus.
• Dutch language required; French/English a plus.
• Residence in Antwerp region or willingness to travel to Ranst.

Responsabilités

• Detect and resolve electrical malfunctions in industrial installations and machinery.
• Perform electrical repairs and connect control cabinets; wire according to diagrams.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on machines and installations.
• Identify faults using measuring equipment; test motors and circuits.

Description du poste

You are responsible for detecting and resolving technical malfunctions, with a clear focus on electrical installations, wiring and drives. Additionally, you carry out preventive maintenance on our machines and installations.

Electricity

• Performing electrical repairs and connecting industrial installations
• Stripping, pulling and correctly connecting electrical wiring according to the diagram
• Connecting and maintaining electrical control cabinets
• Fault detection with measuring equipment and carrying out measurements on motors and circuits
• Basic knowledge of PLC-controlled systems and fault analysis

Technical domains

• Installing and adjusting chains, conveyor systems and belt drives
• Operation and connection of the gearbox
• Carry out preventive maintenance
• Pneumatics (Dis)assembling air lines and fittings
• Locating and repairing faults
• Knowledge of pneumatic components and compressors
• Hydraulics: Replacing and repairing hydraulic pumps, seals, hoses and couplings
