CDH Professionals in Belgium is seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to join a growing e-commerce technology team. You will design, develop, and maintain high-traffic web applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, HTML5, TypeScript, and SQL, while contributing to architecture decisions.

You will mentor juniors, lead testing frameworks, participate in code reviews, monitor performance, and collaborate with Agile teams to deliver sprint commitments.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, including C# and ASP.NET.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL and stored procedures.
• Designing and developing scalable web-based applications.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to join a growing e-commerce technology team. This is an opportunity to work on high-traffic digital platforms, contribute to technical architecture decisions, and play a key role in delivering scalable, customer-focused web applications. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and help drive best practices across the development function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, HTML5, TypeScript, and SQL.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and security.
• Conduct technical analysis, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement robust solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, including unit and end-to-end testing.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvements in development standards and processes.
• Support the ongoing evolution of platform architecture, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify issues using logging, analytics, and monitoring tools.
• Work closely with Agile delivery teams to estimate work, prioritise tasks, and deliver sprint commitments.
• Mentor and support junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong commercial experience with the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, including C# and ASP.NET.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including T‑SQL and stored procedures.
• Experience designing and developing scalable web-based applications.
• Understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Git-based version control systems and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Cloud Run, Docker, and Terraform.
• Exposure to data, logging, and monitoring platforms such as BigQuery.
• Knowledge of SEO, website performance optimisation, page speed improvements, and responsive design principles.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
