Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Senior Verification Engineer in Leuven, Belgium to lead verification strategies across software, electronics/hardware and mechanical systems. You will own plans, define test campaigns and drive automation using Python.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with multidisciplinary R&D teams and ensure traceability from requirements to evidence, delivering robust verification results throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Several years of experience as Verification, Test or Validation engineer.
• Strong Python skills with practical test automation experience.
• Experience with cross-disciplinary software/hardware/mechanical systems.
• Ability to translate requirements into verification plans and evidence.
• Experience with requirements traceability and verification documentation is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own and define verification strategies, plans, test cases and methodologies.
• Lead and coordinate verification and test campaigns across software, hardware and mechanical components.
• Develop and maintain automated verification scripts and test frameworks using Python.
• Analyse results, perform root-cause investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Produce verification reports and ensure traceability between requirements and tests.
