ENGIBEX is supporting a Belgian automotive R&D and manufacturing site in Belgium, specialising in dual-clutch hybrids and conventional transmissions. You join the validation team as an ENGIBEX consultant, owning a mechanical domain such as gears, clutches, or sensors, and deciding what to prove and how.

You define validation approaches, translate requirements into executable tests, and sign off results at SOP and milestones, working closely with test engineers and design teams on site.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electromechanical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent by experience.
• Several years of professional experience in the automotive industry.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Based within commuting distance of the site, or willing to relocate to Belgium.

Responsabilités

• Define the validation approach for your domain, including virtual validation.
• Translate product requirements into a validation plan and detailed, executable test requests.
• Decide which bench and test setup are needed, and secure resources.
• Monitor execution with test engineers and test rig engineers.
• Analyse data, report results, and decide if design passes or evolves.
• Sign off validation results at SOP and milestones.
• Convert long-term planning into weekly planning and clear blockers.
• Support the wider organisation with work instructions in your domain.
