Sotera Health in Belgium is seeking a Mechanical and Operations Technician to operate, maintain and support sterilization technologies at the facility. You will execute sterilization cycles, perform electromechanical troubleshooting, monitor process parameters and complete batch documentation.

The role also contributes to equipment improvements and ensures day-to-day operations run reliably. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of technical post-secondary education, fluent English (French helpful),

Qualifications

• 2–3 years post-secondary education in technical fields, industrial processes, biotechnology, or equivalent.
• English is a must; French is nice to have.
• Willing to travel in Belgium.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and improve equipment.
• Plan and design future equipment.
• Participate in investigations in case of deviations or technical issues.
• Receive, inspect, and store medical and pharmaceutical products under controlled conditions (e.g., refrigeration).
• Operate the sterilization process: cycle initiation, parameter monitoring, equipment loading/unloading.
• Ensure traceability and regulatory compliance throughout all steps of the process.
• Participating in writing, reviewing, and updating operational documents (procedures, instructions, checklists).
• Prepare, complete, and finalize Batch Records (BR).
