Organon in Heist-op-den-Berg, Belgium, is seeking a Senior Specialist Manufacturing Automation to lead and support automation projects in the Shopfloor Systems team. Reporting to the Associate Director Shopfloor Systems, as a Senior Specialist Manufacturing Automation, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and supporting business-critical process automation systems and projects within the Business Technology department.
The BT (Business Technology) Shopfloor Systems Team consists of the Shopfloor Systems Lead and a team of 14 specialists responsible for both CAPEX projects and the support of shopfloor systems. The team works on a wide range of automation projects, including the introduction of installations, the implementation and optimalisations of new or existing production equipment, packaging lines or utility systems.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
At least 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical or related environment (food and/ or chemicals).
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable solutions.
Strong project and (functional) people management skills, showcasing leadership and team collaboration skills.
Adept at problem-solving, demonstrating creativity and innovation in overcoming challenges.
Effective communicator, capable of informing and engaging with peers and stakeholders.
Quick learner, able to adapt and persevere in dynamic environments, demonstrating self-awareness and decision-making quality.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English.

Equivalent work experience may also be considered
Knowledge of pharmaceutical standards and regulations (strongly preferred).
