Reynaers Group seeks a Development Engineer for Sliding & Folding systems to drive advanced aluminium solutions for global projects. You will create detailed 2D/3D drawings, develop processing plans, and contribute to product range elaboration, supported by our Tech Lab and international testing locations.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Electromechanics or equivalent, 5 years of relevant experience, and CAD proficiency with Inventor/AutoCAD. English required; Dutch a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with CAD design using Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of structural calculations and production technologies for aluminium, steel, polymers, elastomers, rubber.
• Strong analytical skills, precision, and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Creating technical die and mold drawings, detailed designs, and component drawings in 2D and 3D.
• Preparing processing plans, catalog drawings, and internal documentation (construction drawings, test set-up descriptions).
• Developing and elaborating specific parts of the product range, supporting the Development Expert.
• Independently handling data, researching information, and developing alternatives.
• Proposing logical deadlines for yourself and monitoring your planning.
• Validating ideas through experiments in the Tech Lab and testing full-scale setups at international locations.
