Black Pen Recruitment seeks a skilled Manual Tester (ServiceNow) fluent in English for a remote assignment, integrated with a major client’s IT team in Belgium. The role requires collaboration with on-site staff and expertise in ServiceNow testing.

The candidate will define test plans, create test cases, execute manual tests, report defects, and coordinate with BAs, developers and product owners. EU candidates only due to security clearance.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing of ServiceNow in enterprise environments.
• Experience with ServiceNow testing practices, Test Management and Release cycles.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (black-box, regression, exploratory).
• Experience with test case management tools (ServiceNow Test Management, Zephyr).
• Experience with defect tracking systems (ServiceNow, Jira).
• Experience preparing test data, ideally using SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow SPM and HRSD modules.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and their impact on testing cycles.
• Awareness of test automation approaches (though not required).
• Certifications such as ServiceNow CSA/ISM, ISTQB are assets.
• Excellent command of English.

Responsabilités

• Definition of test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements.
• Design and construction of test scenarios and manual test scripts.
• Execution of manual tests in functional and integration phases.
• Reporting, logging, and follow-up of defects and incidents.
• Test coordination with analysts, developers, and product owners.
• Participation in test review meetings and progress reports.
• Support in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
