Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Robotics Software Engineer, Payload Integration, to design, develop, and integrate software connecting autonomous platforms with mission payloads in Abu Dhabi. You will architect APIs, ICDs, and data transport between vehicles, payloads, and ground systems, while collaborating across hardware and software teams.

The role requires 5+ years in production software (C++/Rust), strong networking, and the ability to travel to field locations for deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of production-grade software experience in C++ and/or Rust.
• Experience with networking devices, managed networks, and router/switch hardware.
• Experience designing APIs/ICDs with HTTP, REST, and gRPC.
• Strong understanding of UDP/TCP low-level data transport.

Responsabilités

• Develop scalable software that interfaces with networking devices and hardware.
• Design software that integrates with SMS/payload subsystems for release control.
• Architect APIs and ICDs for distributed systems across vehicles, payloads, and ground stations.
• Build low-latency data transport pipelines over UDP/TCP in constrained environments.
• Interface with hardware (embedded devices, sensors, payload electronics) for autonomy software.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, vehicle, and payload teams for integration.
• Travel up to 25–50% to test and deploy systems in the field.
• Contribute across prototyping, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and debug deployed systems to ensure reliability.
