EUROPEAN DYNAMICS seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer fluent in English, based in Belgium, to join our Development team and closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site. The role involves agile planning, backlog management, and cross-disciplinary collaboration on enterprise systems.

The successful candidate will work on-site at either our premises or at customer premises, contributing to DevSecOps practices, testing standards, and transparent communication across teams.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT and 15+ years relevant IT experience.
• Experience with enterprise-scale multi-user Information Systems.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Responsabilités

• Work within the agile process and is the final authority for decisions regarding priority, value, and functionality for the agile development team.
• Interact with business stakeholders and validate requirements.
• Propose IT tooling and process improvements based on business domain understanding.
• Create, maintain, prioritize, and sequence the product backlog based on business value or ROI.
• Create user stories and acceptance tests for a single sprint.
• Participate in project planning and daily stand-up meetings (SCRUM).
• Organize live product demonstrations at sprint end.
• Develop and maintain testing standards.
• Improve internal and external communication and information transparency.
• Assist with prioritisation and resolution of defects/bugs.

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site.

• Typically supervise several business analysts;
• Interact and validate requirements with the business;
• Propose solutions by combining IT tools and business process refactoring or improvements based on an in-depth understanding of a specific business domain;
• Create, maintain, prioritize, and sequence the product backlog based on business value or return of investment;
• Create user stories and acceptance tests from themes and feature granular enough for a single sprint;
• Participate in project planning, daily stand-up meetings (SCRUM);
• Organize live demonstration of the product at the end of the sprint;

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of minimum 15 years;
• Experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user Information Systems;
• Experience in Agile;
• Good knowledge of agile toolbox (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, Figma, etc.);
• Good knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle;
• Good knowledge of IT architecture, webservice, API, data exchanges;
• Good knowledge of BPMN;
• Minimum 4 years of working experience with Data Modelling;
• Minimum 4 years of working experience with UML;
• Minimum 4 years of working experience with Scrum;One of the following certifications is mandatory for the performance of tasks: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe Product Owner or equivalent;
• Excellent command of the English language.
