Elusav Recruitment is seeking a Senior Planner for a major Data Centre Construction project in Mons, Belgium. You will develop and maintain schedules for pre-construction, construction and commissioning using planning software and report progress to the Planning Department.

The role requires a relevant engineering/ construction management degree and 5–10 years experience as Project/Senior Planner on large industrial projects, with travel to sites if required.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant 3rd level degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5–10 years experience as Project/Senior Planner on large industrial plants.
• Proven track record in planning large industrial projects.
• Experience in datacentres would be a distinct advantage but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction, construction and commissioning.
• Developing and maintaining progress databases and progress reporting.
• Auditing schedule performance and ensuring quality and accuracy of schedules and reports.
• Leading planning meetings and liaising with client and subcontractors.
• Travel to projects as required and cover Planning Manager/Project Planner duties when needed.

Elusav are recruiting a Senior Planner for one of Europe's largest Contractors for a Data Centre Construction Project in Mons, Belgium.

The Senior planner will be responsible for Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning utilizing Planning software.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for a project or portfolio of projects (regional / sectoral).
• Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP.
• Reporting to Planning Department.
• Reporting to Business Unit / Project Management.
• Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning.
• Developing and maintaining progress databases.
• Progress reporting.
• Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis.
• Earned Value Management systems.
• Monitoring schedule performance and productivity.
• Auditing progress on site.
• Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors.
• Preparation of tender schedules.
• Preparation of histograms.
• Leading planning meetings.
• Supporting weekly workface planning systems.
• Resource / cash loading of schedules.
• Providing data for payment applications.
• Completing contract review reports.
• Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports.
• Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions.
• Recording delay and disruption.
• Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes.
• Travelling to projects in order to carry out the above, if required.
• Managing, training, coaching, supporting, developing, leading staff, if required.
• Covering Planning Manager responsibilities when required.
• Covering Project Planner responsibilities when required.
• All other duties associated with role.

Requirements:

• Relevant 3rd level degree in and Engineering/ Construction Management subject.
• 5-10 years experience at Project/ Senior Planner on large plants/ industrial projects.
• Proven track record in planning large projects on an industrial scale.
• Experience in datacentres would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
• Relevant planning software working knowledge.
